cambodia last day.

24 august. thursday. last day.

our flight was at 11.45am. so we still have time to go see see. hehehe. take a fwe pics of the hotel room before leaving first ler..

we went to the war musuem. a communist party called the khner rouge took over cambodia during 1975-79. bad things happen during that time. rich people became poor. in 2 years time the khmer rouge killed over 2 miliion people, and about a million died of starvation, disease and exhaustion. all the educated people like the teachers, docters, lawyers, nurses were killed. the leader is called pol pot. he did not believe in any religion and he forbade the people to have any religion, he wants the people to think that hes the only god. the soldiers killed people for fun, whenever they were feeling bored, they kill, for stupid reasons. they rape the beautiful young girls before killing them. and for the not very pretty girls, they cut of their nipples with pincers. they pluck out people's nails, slaughter them and make soup with the people's liver. when they are out of bullets, they make the victims dig their own hole and whack em in the head so they become unconscious and kick em down the hole.

lol. i know all these not because i went to the war musuem, i bought some books from a landmine victims that was selling books on a cart. the guy doesnt have legs, most of the old generations in cambodia doesnt have legs.. cz of the landmines. the vietnamese buried landmines everywhere in cambodia to kill the americans, but instead they injured the local people. until now there are still landmines in the fields of cambodia. every year 200 - 300 people get injured. many japanese and korean volunteers come and help clean the landmines, but until now there are still about 6000 landmines buried. i dunno la, thats wad the musuem guy said..

cambodia day two. 23 august. wednesday..

day 2. went to angkor. i cant really tell you anything about the old temple. i was just there to waste 20usd and walk walk. ahahaa.. at least i know that angkor is divided into lotsa parts with lotsa ancient temples and with lotsa big big entrances.. and its discovered by a french guy in the late 1800's.. first stop, angkor thom, west entrance.. i think.

next stop.. somewhere in the jungle.. lookin for big old trees grown for hundreds of years that are on some of the ancient buildings.

then.. lunched. i dun have pictures of that place la. thats not important anyways. so.. final stop, angkor wat. the biggest and grandest ancient temple. a must-see. one of the 7 wonders of the world. i wonder why i dont find it fascinating.. i use to love historical stuff.. (yes ar? really?)

then there was a third level of the temple.. the highest temple. the stairs leading to it is real steeep and not much people dared to climb..there was a "climb at own risks" sign, so i guess someone dropped before. there was a caucasian lady that climbed until half way and came back down, and told her hubby (whuch was already up there) to come down and lead her. lol. my mum wanted us to climb..

ma: climb! must climb! how can duwan to climb! we paid 20usd! it wud be such a waste if u dun climb! u sit airplane come here is to see angkor wat and discover it mah! *talk talk talk* must climb!

so, i needa climb lor. damn scared la wei. (dun laugh.) it was really very steep, and the steps are mostly broken..

when we came down and look up.. there were some japanese chick on top and they were so excited and keep waving and waving to us.. being malaysians.. we oso do our parts la.. wave back like crazy.. then there was a nun climbing down and my bro wanted to take picture of her.. then the japanese chicks thought my bro wanna take pictures of them so they took out their cameras and took pictures of us lol. perasan japanese. lol.

hahahahahaha.

okie end of angkor wat visits. it rained! we hadda run and run and run and get all wet to the travel van.. we didnt wan to go back yet so we asked the driver to drive us to somewhere famous.. and he brought us to a jewelry shop..(what the?!) the workers in the shop all speak fluent chinese cz mostly chinese tourists go there. and most of them has chinese blood. how cool.

wah! so cheap ar so cheap arr! faster buy faster buy! neh that wan nice!

all the auntie aunties thought that it was cheap and genuine.. cz they burned the diamond under 1000degrees and showed us how to cut glass with it.. so everyone thought it was genuine stuff lo. my mum bought 3 rings, 2 earrings and 1 neckace. cheap ma, kononnya..

thenn.. at night when we went to tge central market in town.. we saw diamonds too! my cousin asked if its genuine.. so the guy showed us his diamonds and cut glass and burned it under 1000 degrees.. ahahahahaha. butthen they only sell like 7-9usd for a ring.. my mum bought her ring for like 50usd. lol. lol.

cambodia day one.

day 1. 22 august. tueday.
went to kl the day before and slept at my bro's condo. got up early in the morning and hopped in a cab to get to lcct. new terminal ehh. lame la. like kuantan's wan ny.. our flight was at 10am. fooded at a place called asian kitchen. walao the food sucked like hell and the price was skyghigh. blueks. shud have fooded at mcdonalds. met up with the relatives.. wait and waited.. and got up into the plane. airasia flight. it has been 2 years since i last flight with m'sia airlines.. just because it has food and drinks it costs almost 100% higher. gosh, i miss their orange juice and the lengnui stewardess in kebaya. airasia stewardess not very leng if compared to msia airlines leh. aih. cz of the free seating policy.. we hadda squeeze and fight for a good spot. and cz airasia buys second handed planes.. the plane was hot and the seats were all bulky and not very comfortable. 2 hours and 5 minutes of hell. our destination was a little place called siem reap. (of course in cambodia la.) the airport their was like kuantan's, small small and with spikey tops. but they charge 25usd for the airport tax. walao eh.. bangkok airport charge oni 500 bath and klia charge oni 80 bucks.. and klia is one the the world's best airports.. (i dunno la, read it on a banner in klia..)

nevermind. got there and checked in to our hotel. its called the angkor star hotel. every hotel in that place has an "angkor" word in front. i dunno why.. then.. we went to tonle sap! *cheers and applause!* ya ya,, the one the read about in form one geography textbuk. dun remember?! aiyo, cha shui. our taxi driver was a good guy.. though he kinda looked like a mafia gangster. he wore tight black tee and a stripey pants.. aint THAT mafia?! lol.

helloe. im beck. newly edited blogksin.. did it myself. nice? you betta.. i spent 2 hours on it. st john agm rawked! despite the lousy halal meal, the stage without a backstage, the super shiny marble floor, the freaking hot toilet, everything was great! most probably because we did an awesome show. i kinda panicked at first and the music kinda kelam kabut, but i dont think many ppl noticed. gosh. suewen had only 2 lines in the entire play and she almost forgot. i hadda smack her to remind to say her part. blurrrr. well, the whole thing was okay la. at least we kinda achieved out motto. "make em laugh, make em remember". i asked some friends and they said this year's was better than last year. i forgot to bring my camera sia! damn it. and i got only one picture of out performance from eway. he said laughed until he forgot to take pictures. wdh..
